Xavier Dupont’s biography

CEO of Valeo Power Division & Group Executive Vice President

Portrait of Xavier DupontXavier Dupont started his career at Valeo in 1994 as Methods Manager, Lighting Systems in Blois, France, where he held several positions.

In 2000, he became plant manager at the Valeo plant in Amiens. He became General Manager of Passenger Car Transmissions in 2006 and then Director in 2008.

He was appointed Director of the Manual Transmissions Product Line in 2011.

In 2015, he became President of the Valeo Powertrain Systems Business Group and in 2023 he was also named acting President of the Valeo Thermal Systems Business Group.

Since April 2024, Dupont is CEO of Valeo Power Division & Group Executive Vice President.

Xavier Dupont graduated as a mechanical engineer from Ecole Centrale, France.
