  Torque and/or Angle Sensors

  Torque and/or Angle Sensors are reliable components designed to detect drivers’ torque and/or steering wheel position for precise regulation in electronic power steering (EPS) systems and future steer-by-wire steering systems.

  These sensors represent a pivotal advancement in automotive technology, providing real-time feedback on the driver’s input to optimize steering performance and enhance vehicle control. By accurately detecting torque and steering wheel position, they enable the EPS system to adjust steering assistance levels dynamically, improving responsiveness and stability under varying driving conditions.

  The light temperature can also be adjusted (mix of warm and cold whites) to ensure optimized lighting.

  LED grille lights are the central area of the car fascia animated from simple contouring to communicative panel. Possibility to be combined with an illuminated logo. Valeo led grille lights and panels have a high level of animation possible for cars (including for communication functions) thanks to integrated or centralized ECU.

  Valeo Smart Safety 360

  Drawing on Valeo’s hardware and software expertise, Valeo Smart Safety 360 is a turnkey driver assistance system (ADAS), offering a wide range of safety as well as driving and parking assistance functions.

  With the smart front camera used as the system’s central computer, Valeo Smart Safety 360 is an integrated and affordable system approach, connecting ultrasonic sensors, radars, and a camera for driver monitoring functionality.

  Ultra Wide Band (UWB) based occupancy monitoring system

  The Ultra Wide Band (UWB) based Occupant Monitoring System is an advanced solution designed to enhance safety and security within vehicles.

  The system offers reliable and precise tracking of objects and occupants within the vehicle cabin utilizing UWB technology as a short-range wireless communication protocol. Placed discreetly on the top of the cabin, the system analyzes the cabin context to detect the presence of living beings, including newborns and children, providing essential peace of mind for drivers and passengers.

  Clean4 U Windshield Debug Defrost Software

  The function can be launched remotely or in-car by the user. OTA/LIN software updates for implementation of the solution. It is a scalable solution adapted to different wiper system configurations. Some specific liquids or additives exist for best windshield defrost/debug performance and results.

  Thermal Management Air conditioning

  R-1234yf / R-744 Heat Pump Heat Exchangers

  A water-cooled condenser is part of a specific hot loop/cold loop thermal management architecture. It connects the cooling loop to the air conditioning system. This innovative condensers use coolant rather than air to liquefy air conditioning refrigerant vapour.

  Battery cooling needs are increasing and require higher condensation performance. But a condenser needs also to work as an evaporator to recover heat from air at cold temperatures to avoid too much impact on the vehicle range.

  It is a key exchanger in a heat pump loop to heat up the cabin. However, when the heat pump cannot provide enough heat, a High Voltage Coolant Heater is required.

  Telematics Unit for mainstream applications

  The Telematics unit for mainstream is introduced for mainstream applications as a comprehensive solution designed to meet regulatory requirements such as eCall, ISA, and RTM.

  The Telematics Unit enables seamless communication between the vehicle and external systems. With eCall functionality, it automatically contacts emergency services in the event of an accident, providing precise location information to expedite response times and potentially save lives.
