Power of words on Valeo’s International Women’s Day
The road to full women empowerment is a long and shifting one, but the power of words can do miracles. “There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish”; an empowering quote by Michelle Obama, under which we chose to celebrate women international day at Valeo, and give our women the boost they need to keep their ongoing successes, whether tiny or major, on track.
Yes! There is no limit to what women can accomplish, only if they realise their potential, only if they hear it, and understand to which extent they can influence generations, futures and, eventually, the world.
On this day, we chose to offer women “words”. Words of inspiration, words that touch them and their lives; and give a boost to their amazing daily energy. On selfie cards we placed our words, for them to choose the closest words to their hearts, and capture the moment in selfies, to keep them as reminders to love themselves, support their counterparts, and influence other women.

“Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute what women do everyday,”
“Where there is woman, there is magic”
And to conclude the celebration, we invited over Rania Badreldin, a Happiness Consultant, to give words of wisdom to our women on how to be happy and fulfilled in their lives. Rania stressed on the importance to love and appreciate oneself, in order to be able to spread the love and support needed from women as mothers, partners, and friends, to the ones they love.
We want to thank our women for the amazing things they accomplish everyday. Keep on shining bright as you always do.
