Valeo Mexico plays a key role in the development strategy of the Group for the North America market, with a dozen production plants, over 13,000 employees and three Development centers. With its employee well-being and gender equality policies, Valeo Mexico has become a major employer in several cities, like San Luis Potosi, Querétaro, Ciudad Juárez, Río Bravo and Toluca. Valeo Mexico’s expertise is focused on all of Valeo’s Division: Power Division, Brain Division and Light Division, as well as Production sites and Research & Development excellence centers.
Valeo Mexico is well aware of environmental issues and has set up innovative solutions to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The plants based in San Luis Potosi have won a number of awards like “Best Supplier of the Year”, and the Volkswagen Awards for “Excellence in Development and Entrepreneurship Achievements”. The Visibility Systems plant has received the “Business Week / Architectural Award”, being the only industrial project distinguished out of 164.

As the Group expanded its activities, each of the 3 Divisions has implemented several plants across Mexico. San Luis Potosi has focalized its expertise on Thermal and Powertrain Solutions. The state of Toluca is focused on Comfort and Driving Assistance, Thermal and Visibility Solutions. Querétaro and Juarez bring their expertise to innovative Visibility Solutions with its design center and the opening of the Mobility Technical Center in 2024 focused on cutting-edge technologies for electromobility, such as sensor systems, electric motors and intelligent lighting systems. The Rio Bravo site is oriented on efficient Powertrain Solutions.
In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Valeo Mexico’s plant in Querétaro installed hybrid furnaces that use electric energy and natural gas.
The Powertrain Systems plant in San Luis Potosí develops innovative solutions to reduce fuel consumption as well as CO2 emissions.
The Visibility Systems plants in Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Toluca design and produce groundbreaking systems offering comfort and safety to the driver and passengers. We develop as well new technologies in the car that benefit pedestrians.
Valeo Thermal Systems in San Luis Potosí manufactures components to manage thermal energy, ensuring the driver and passenger comfort.
Last but not least, the Valeo Service & aftermarket office offers original equipment parts to car manufacturers and spare parts to the aftermarket, supplying a wide variety of products and services worldwide.
