The history of Valeo began in 1993 in Veszprém, Hungary. Production at the Hungarian site began with the production of steering switches. Over the years, the company’s portfolio has also expanded, and the most modern mobility-supporting products are now manufactured at their sites. Today, the 2 sites in Veszprém have a wide portfolio, producing modern components that support the mobility of the future at both sites.
We are proud that, as an automotive supplier, Valeo is a partner of all car manufacturers worldwide. Nearly one hundred thousand employees of our company group work every day to make driving as safe, comfortable and green as possible. We are waiting for the applications of our future colleagues at 2 locations in Veszprém who want to work with us for the mobility of the future.
Our traineeship programme is for university students who want to be prepared in the last third of their studies and find a stable, full-time job immediately after graduation.

Our Veszprém site manufactures a wide range of premium switches, sensors, electronic control units and camera controllers for passenger cars, trucks and commercial vehicles.
Our growth in recent years has been marked by the fact that while in 2013 we had less than 1,000 employees, in 2018 we have been chosen by almost 2,700 employees, 160 of whom are employed in our R&D centre and this growth continues!

Premium category products have been manufactured in 2 plants in Veszprém since 1993. The portfolio of Valeo Auto-Electric Magyarország Kft. consists of electronic products such as steering switches, sensors, head-up displays, smart keys, cameras, camera control units, electronic turbochargers and steering servo controllers. The other factory integrated in 2022 (formerly operating as Valeo Siemens) focuses on components for the electric car industry and produces products such as inverters, on-board chargers and electric drives. In addition, both sites also deal with SMT production.
Valeo Group is a technology company and partner to all automakers and new mobility players worldwide. The company has become a technological and industrial leader in electrification, driving assistance systems, reinvention of the interior experience and lighting everywhere for a cleaner, safer and smarter mobility.
