The Valeo site in Friedrichsdorf develops and produces telematics and audio products in connected vehicles.

Friedrichsdorf is part of the Valeo Brain Division and operates under the name Valeo Telematik und Akustik GmbH. Around 500 employees from over 40 different countries develop and produce telematics and audio products. These modules are important components of networked vehicles and thus indispensable for the automated traffic concepts of the future. They enable reliable data exchange, for example via a fast 4G/5G internet connection, navigation, manufacturer-specific assist services and the eCall legal emergency call.

Working in Friedrichsdorf

Friedrichsdorf is located on the southern slope of the main Taunus ridge overlooking Frankfurt and is the third largest town in the Hochtaunus district after Bad Homburg and Oberursel. Together with its districts of Dillingen, Seulberg, Köppern and Burgholzhausen, Friedrichsdorf has a population of around 25.000. Friedrichsdorf has a good infrastructure with kindergartens, schools, medical specialists, clubs, a shopping center and a beautiful pedestrian zone with numerous restaurants.

Sustainability at the site

The site impresses with a recycling rate for commercial and industrial waste of almost 98%. All of this waste is fed into the recycling loop. Only 2% is not sent for material recycling and disposed of.
