Detlef Juerss’s biography

Chief Sales & Business Development Officer

Detlef W Juerss is Chief Sales & Business Development Officer and joined Valeo in 2021. He is responsible for Valeo’s commercial activities worldwide. Detlef W Juerss has extensive experience in the automotive industry serving in executive positions with Johnson Controls, Adient and Calsonic Kansei. Before joining Valeo, he was Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Technology and Engineering Officer at Marelli Corp. in Japan.

Detlef studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University RWTH Aachen in Germany. He holds a Mechanical Engineering diploma and a PhD in Plastics Processing.
