Auto China 2018: Valeo presents its economical low-voltage all-electric solution

Among its vehicle electrification solutions, which cover all types of vehicle use and all segments, Valeo is presenting a highly economical low-voltage all-electric solution that can power a small two?seater prototype to a range of 150 km and a top speed of 100 km/h. Developed in partnership with Shanghai’s Jiao Tong University, the solution is ideal for meeting the needs of China’s fast-growing vehicle electrification market.

Also on show are Valeo’s battery thermal management solutions, which are essential for optimizing battery life span and travel range.

In addition, Valeo is showcasing its connected air purifier, which helps protect passengers from outside pollution and allergens.

Currently the leader in autonomous driving, with the most comprehensive portfolio of sensors on the market, Valeo is also presenting its automatic LiDAR cleaning system, which enables the key LiDAR sensor to function optimally at all times, regardless of weather conditions.

As the world’s largest car producer, China is a strategic market for Valeo, accounting for 27% of its order intake and 16% of its total sales in 2017.
